Tuesdays with Morrie

I hope you all enjoyed the movie on Sunday. We will finish the movie after we get back from the retreat. I'd like to invite everyone to post a comment about the movie - good or bad.

Below is the last two stanza from the poem "September 1st, 1939" by W.H. Auden - he wrote this poem when he heard of Germany's invasion of Poland heralding the start of WWII. Do you recognize some of the lines from the movie?

Bake Sale Extraordinare!!!

COMING THIS SUNDAY (March 5th)

We will get together and bake on SATURDAY (March 4th)

WHEN : around 5pm

WHERE: Nayun Kim's Apartment
WHO: Volunteers to bake cookies and cupcakes(?)

We need the following:
1. Recipes - something simple and tested.
2. Equipments - cookie sheets, mixing tools, cookie cutters.
3. Any ingredients you want to donate - flour, sugar (white and brown), butter, chocolata!
