  • Ashely,
I want to respond to your rosary story. I do agree that God loves you, but I disagree that God will grant you a 97 just because. I believe "maybe" that He gave you a clear mind so that you may think better and from your own knowledge received the 97. Hope you can see what I mean. God helped you get the 97. He didn't give it to you.

Response to the "i say no more learning about the bible cuz nobody remembers that kinda stuff".
It is really not about remembering. It is our religious heritage. You do need to know where your religion is coming from. We have two very important heritage: The Sacred Scripture and The Sacred Tradition. Both make us who we are. So if you want to know what a Catholic is (That is all of us) we need to explore these two.
    OK?

I hope I have clarified a few things for you.
    See you in class :)

  • First of all,
There are more than one blog master - all the teachers are blog masters - hehe.

(Thanks to whoever blog master added color to this blog - my ibook cannot do that - still love my ibook - no PC lover will tempt me to denounce APPLE.)

I agree with the post above by the blog master - learning about the history of the church and the history of the bible might be boring and might seem irrelevant. But it's about fundamentals. In order to build a house, we need first to create a strong foundation.

But I also agree with Ashley that discussion about real life issue is important. So if there is any particular issue you would like to discuss in class, post something about it. Describe something that happend in school that troubles you. Any problems you are having you need help with...

You can post anonymously - but please be sincere and serious. Some of you have already surprised me with your maturity and intelligence this year - let's keep this up!
